2 years old!

Today Alex and Derek turn two! I can't believe that they are already that old. This is the first picture I have been able to get of them together, looking at the camera for about 2 months! They each have their own personality and are really starting to develop a relationship with each other. The last two years have been crazy, but fun. I can't wait to see what the next year has in store!

4 year anniversary

Friday was our 4 year wedding anniversary (although we have been together for 11 years.) I couldn't imagine my life without Adam, he is my best friend as well as my husband, and he is a GREAT father! I love him more that anything and I know that he will always be there for me and our family! On Friday we actually got to go out on a date....a movie and lunch. It was the first time in awhile that we got to get away without the kids. It was so fun and hopefully we will be able to do it again soon.

Halloween Picture Frame

This is a picture frame that I made for Craft Warehouse. I used the My Minds Eye line. Sorry for the picture quality...I will try and get another one soon.

At the top I put ribbon that was part of the collection around the frame and added some die cut tags and brads where I wrote "Alex and Derek - 13 months." I also put the year (2008). I used stickers for the 2 and the 8, and then for the zero's I used the Tim Holtz grungeboard skull and cross bones and painted them with white crackle paint. I die cut the tree on the machine and then added black glitter to make it stand out more. I used some die cut pumpkins and then some dimensional sticker pumpkins and then twisted black and orange leaf ribbon together. The title "@ the patch" was done in green thickers.
I love this picture of the boys last year at the pumpkin patch. We set them in the huge pile of pumpkins and hoped that they would both look at the camera at the same time. Derek was crying for the most part...out of all the pictures this is the one where he looks more like smiling than crying!

Is it Holiday Time already?

I can't believe that Craft Warehouse already has in Halloween and Christmas paper! Where has the time gone? With that said....next month's club is the BIG one of the year....gift giving ideas and home decorations, and so I was asked to prepare items using the Holiday idea book!
I can't show you the first two assignments because it is going to be a surprise to reveal at club....( I will post pictures and descriptions after club)

The first item that I did was a Halloween "SPOOKY" banner:
I used the Bo Bunny Boo Crew collection. I embellished it with buttons, ribbon, felt, paper, flowers and die cuts.

The next project that I did was a Christmas countdown. I used My Minds Eye for the paper and embellishments.
This project is already hanging up at Craft Warehouse, so I can show it now.
The last item that I did from the book is a HUGE paper snowflake. I used the Bo Bunny Christmas collection. All it took was 6 pieces of paper! It is really hard to try and explain the directions, but if you look in the holiday book, you will find it! It really wasn't that hard and it would be cute to hang up around the house. (the bottom point is supposed to be straight...I didn't realize until after I took the picture that I had to staple it back together!)
